Mentoring

Monitoring services are oriented to meet the initial needs of an individual interested to develop a micro-project.  The seed phase is the starting point of a continuous accompaniment and support to develop a small project aiming to obtain a microcredit or other financial support.

The importance of this mentoring phase is the accompaniment of the potential beneficiary to built a pre-feasibility plan needed to apply for external financial supports.

Usually, the competences of a mentor regard:

  • General information on the development of micro-projects and its related problems focusing on initiatives of social value

  • Knowledge of the available services (microcredit, insurance and so on) and successful experiences already consolidated in the sector

  • Opportunities for brief training and meetings
